While each brand has a “best” car, this doesn’t necessarily mean these cars are the “best” when compared to other brands. The quality and performance differ widely, and one manufacture’s best car may pale next to its competitor’s top vehicle.

Best BMW: M235iIf you want a car with performance and great handling, BMW’s M235i is just what the doctor ordered. The downside to the XTS is major; its reliability is below average.
Best Chevrolet: Corvette Stingray 3LTThis pricey sports car enters its seventh iteration and brings new styling, increased power, and a revamped interior for Corvette fans. Standard power comes from a 455-hp 6.2-liter V8 engine with a seven-speed manual transmission. You can also get an optional eight-speed automatic transmission. The car is super quick, thanks to its all aluminum construction. The Corvette Stingray 3LT received many Car of the Year (2014) Awards.
Best Ford: Fusion SEOld school car enthusiasts will say that the words “Ford” and “Best” are contradictory, but in this case, Ford has got it right. This car has a surprisingly good ride. Handling is as nimble and precise as some European sports sedans. Everything about this car is solid and well manufactured. A 1.5 or 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine are available, but for better performance, the 2.0-liter is the way to go.
Best Honda: Accord LX (4-cylinder engine)The Accord series has always been at the top of the list for reliable cars, and the LX is no different. It is priced competitively with other family sedan cars, and has a good set of standard features. Driving the LX offers very good handling, but the ride can be a bit harsh at times. The interior offers lots of room, and is finished with care and quality.
Best Hyundai: Genesis 3.8 (AWD)If you are a value shopper, the Hyundai’s Genesis 3.8 will give you all the features and comfort you could ever want for about $10,000 less than competing luxury sedans. The car comes with a V6 or V8 engine, good handling, comfortable ride, and lots of gadgetry for the high end models.
